Burnzy4p-7p I went from a Walkman to a degree in radio, just from listening to a Police tune. My first musical encounter was when I was about 5, I got a big red Sony Walkman with orange headphones for Christmas. I remember taking a long trip to Lincoln, NB in my Mom and Dad's VW Microbus and was engrossed in a free tape from a Kellogg’s Cornflakes box, the only tune I can remember is The Police – Walking on the Moon. My next memory is of buying KISS Animalize. Now I was hooked! My collection grew over time. Zeppelin, Sabbath, AC/DC and more. The more I listened the more I knew I had to be a part of the music scene. After a few tries at playing guitar, drums and the bass I realized that if I wanted to be a part of music I should probably be a DJ. I went to Brown Institute to get a Radio education and I'm now doing the Evening Drive on The Northland's Classic Rock 102.5. I couldn't be happier! |
